This week the Honeybees honed in on their coloration and teamwork skills. We have been playing a game called “pinball” during second block, when it’s too dark to be outside. During this collaborative running around game teams must work together to knock down comes across the gym. During these games we’ve noticed improvement in communication, encouragement towards others and good sportsmanship. The Honeybees did so well learning this new game that they introduced it to the Crickets at the end of the week and had the chance to play together. We love seeing the Honeybees step into leadership roles!
The Honeybees have also been expressing an eagerness to engage in music and performance arts, so this week we made our own hand drums and shakers, used instruments to perform in a marching band around the school, created good luck charms out of gems and pipe cleaners and created festive snowman puppets!
