Welcome Back Cricket Families!
We hope you all had a lovely winter break. We are happy to be back, jumping into a new year with a variety of fun activities.
We didn’t let the cold weather stop us from going outside and being active. We enjoyed free play on the structure, football on the field, and Flasketball on the blacktop. We also enjoyed a number of active games indoors including Minefield, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Give Me That Hoop.
We got crafty this week, making pony bead bracelets and homemade kinetic sand. Back by popular demand, Abby brought in some rabbit and bear miniatures, and Crickets sculpted furniture and food out of clay, designing cozy new homes for their mini friends.
Crickets also tested their knowledge with a trivia based game of Flyswatter, and raced the clock to see how many “snowballs” they could scoop up blindfolded in a game called Snowball Scoop.
