Hello Dragonfly Families! This last full week of school before winter break was an excellent way to end 2025. We had an ooey-gooey sensory experience by marbling ornaments using shaving cream. We played some exciting games of Holiday Hoops in the gym. The Dragonflies made weird and wonderful collaborative art in Pass the Drawings. Auditions for the Runkle play also happened this week. The children worked on scenes and accents to get ready for this big moment. Then we ended the week with a party to celebrate the Holiday season! It was a spectacular time!
As we head into the new year, we also like to look back on the last few months of RED. We have such an amazing time getting to know the 4th graders and seeing the 5th graders bloom into role models. We have played so many board games like Dominion and Pass the Pandas. We practiced our basketball and soccer skills through drills and games. We created miniature worlds and so much beautiful artwork. We started an adventuring group and battled foes through our sessions of Dungeons and Dragons. We have had an amazing first half of the year and can’t wait to see what fun and shenanigans we can get up to in 2026!
