It was another fun filled week in Cricketland! We spent the week celebrating Valentine’s Day by making heart-themed crafts such as origami hearts and decoupage heart ornaments. We also got our boogie on with an all-ages Valentine’s dance party!
This week we tested our speed, focus, and precision with Minute to Win it. Students took turns trying various timed challenges. We also tried a new activity, Hula Hoop soccer, where students played soccer while holding hula hoops around their bodies. It got pretty silly. Later in the week, we played Mini Hoop basketball, which is always a blast. On Friday, we played many exciting and laughter-filled rounds of Balloon Volleyball.
We had a very exciting Tea Party this week. We drank out of special mugs, nibbled on biscuits, and sampled a delicious Rose Lemon tea.
We also played fun word games, and even got to make our own word searches!
We will miss our lovely Crickets over February break. We can’t wait to come back and have more happy times with this group of effervescent and delightful little humans.
