Dragonflies played board games and practiced making a house of cards. We created colorful artwork in pastel and crayon resist watercolor. After raiding the supply closet for craft supplies, Dragonflies made original creations and collages with beads, buttons, colored wire, fabric, wood, and an assortment of other materials.
In Fantastic Feathers Club we learned how to portray the texture of feathers in black and white using the scratch board technique. Dragonflies made small animal figures out of wooden pieces. We designed feathers using quilling strips of different widths and colors.
