Happy weekend RED families! The Dragonflies had a busy and exciting week. Our creative sides showed when we started off the week with a return to the computer lab for some more fantasy map making. Then we created cardboard masterpieces using just our imaginations and some tape. One of our 4th graders had the opportunity to run an activity where she taught us all how to draw a Moon Eye.
During the early release on Wednesday, the Dragonflies teamed up with the Crickets and Honeybees to compete in a Scavenger Hunt Challenge. They loved being able to mentor the younger RED groups, which they continued to do when they created a Pin-hall machine with the Honeybees the next day.
We topped of the week on Friday with an Ice Excavation and our egg-cellent Egg-Mart Egg Drop. You’ll be happy to know that 2 of the eggs survived their fall, with King Rico XVI coming out as the winner!
