Happy St Patrick’s Day Dragonfly Families! This week was our second week of clubs. Dragonflies in the STEAM club learned about the chemical reaction which creates beautiful sun printed artwork. They discovered that these chemical reactions won’t work in indoor light but will work when outside even when it’s cloudy! In the Potato Head club, they played an intense game of Battle of the Baked Potatoes! An extra large board game with sweet potato patrol boats, scalloped potatoes sea cruisers, baked potato battleships, and french fry spies.
In addition to our Thursday clubs, we made some miniature architectural models out of recycled materials. Girls Sports club continued this week with Pacman tag and Gaga Ball. We had fun outside in the warming weather and continued to be our funky selves inside when nor’easters blew through. Have a happy and wonderful weekend!
