Happy Friday Cricket Families!
The Cricket Crew has had another successful week. They have done a great job adjusting to RED routines and expectations. In addition to free time on the structure and games in the cafe, teachers led surprise activities throughout the week. Crickets roamed the structure for miniature ducks hidden by Abby, and then created little homes for their new duck friends. Brian challenged some friends to beat him 1 v. 1 on the basketball court, many Crickets succeeding. Beth taught us a card game called “Oh, Bother,” and it has quickly become a new favorite. Other impromptu activities this week have included a Crickets vs. Dragonflies soccer game on the field, “Flasketball” on the blacktop, and a Harry Potter sorting hat quiz and ceremony in the cafe.
