Families came to see the incredible artwork displayed at the annual RED Art Show. Honeybees, Crickets, and Dragonflies curated the show of hundreds of pieces in a variety of media including watercolor, drawing, collage, scratchboard, metal embossing, word art, and sculpture.
Dragonflies did more crayon resist watercolor animals, and tried out some new snowflake paper cutting patterns. Dragonflies learned about the properties of dry ice by doing several experiments in the science lab. They made spoons screech, blew up balloons with carbon dioxide gas, and exploded the caps off of film canisters.
Dragonflies had an action packed
Monday/Tuesday preparing for the art show. They had a great time learning Medieval Calligraphy with Travis.
