This week’s art and science projects were a hit with the Crickets. We made styrafoam prints, friendship bracelets, and ocean jars. We also got outside when it wasn’t raining for some much needed time outdoors. Crickets had fun “mining” outside for various rocks and minerals. A teacher used a large rock to smash open rocks and minerals so kids could see what they look like inside. We also brought an atlas to help identify what we found! Kids were excited to discover Quartz, granite, feldspar, mica, and more!
