We wrapped up our Runkle Athletics Club where we learned to diagram plays, made our own sports trading cards and then used some of our newly learned strategies to play a big group game of basketball with some of the Crickets. Also shown is one picture of the kids showing off their newest colored clay project – iPhones and headphones!
The dragonflies were taken over by a bizarre obsession to fold the pages of books to make…HEDGEHOGS!!!! Catherine introduced an awesome activity that the kids haven’t been able to stop themselves from working on for days! You will see some of these hedgehogs in the January art show and some of your dragonflies might bring home a new pet. We also tried a few new games in the gym, played around with electric guitar effects and continued to make impressive sculptures with colored clay.
