Fall weather is in full swing here at RED. The Dragonflies spent everyday enjoying the beautiful outdoors and having fun with fallen leaves! We have also been getting into the Halloween spirit with games of Zombie Tag and continuing to work on our Haunted Path preparation! This week marked the beginning of the Dragonflies yearly Dungeons and Dragons campaign. New players learned the basics, while the veterans jumped in to help them along in the adventure. We had guest teachers from both the Crickets and Honeybees come visit and help us stretch our creative muscles with spooky story telling and mini-sweater making. To end the week on a high note, we spent Friday becoming engineers! The dragonflies built ziplines to send packages across a room and then competed to create the most aerodynamic paper airplane. It was an energy filled and exciting week over here! Have a happy long weekend Dragonfly Families!
