Hello Dragonfly Families!! Happy first week of school! We are so happy to have all of our returning 5th grade and new 4th grade Dragonflies this year. The first week of any new RED year is spent getting to know each other again. We ease our way back in with lots of free play outside enjoying this beautiful weather. A 4-square tournament and some gaga ball on the field made our time even better! We also took some time to have fun conversations. We shared all of our summer escapades and our hopes for the new school year. As a group we also talked about what it means to be a Dragonfly. As the oldest group in RED, we become mentors and examples for the younger kids. Showing respect and good sportsmanship to each other can make the whole program follow in their footsteps. We can already tell this year is going to be AMAZING! We are so excited to see all the ways the Dragonflies grow and learn as the year progresses!
